i have a laptop vaio vgn-cs 17g which is having 2 gb of DDR2 ram of elpida printed
EBE21UE8ACUA-8G-E on it and quotes (ELPIDA TAIWAN 2GB 2Rx8PC2-6400S-666)
i wish to use a 2 gb ram on the other so-dimm port to get a total of 4gb of ram for win vista home premium 32 bit preloaded os. I am willing to purchase transcend jm667qsu-2g
that i can purchase at a very cheap price. please any one tell me if both can be used together as i have often heard that difference in speeds and Mbs/pin creates incompatibility against each other. please can anyone match and tell the speed and Mbs/pin and other vital specs. of the two rams for me. Thanks in advance.

If you have a dual core or a core2duo processor you can upgrade to a 4 GB DDR2 ram. Use sane DDR2 type ram. i think it works. check with sony support. before you buy
