I have a IBM A22m laptop that won't boot up. When I hit the power button I see about a 1 second flash in the screen. I tried a different power supply, and took the battery out and put it back in etc. , and the battery light blinks. Not sure what to check next.

I accidentally waited for about 30 minutes with the laptop turned on and it healed itself. My laptop is Windows Vista SP2 and had some disk problems lately. Here' s the story if you want to do what I did to fix it.
