I don't if my mobo is dead or not. It's a VIA (sucky brand). When I reset the BIOS I wasn't able to boot into either the HDD or the CD-ROM. It would only boot off the floppy. So I don't know if it's dead or not. Any ideas?

If you are able to boot with a floppy the Mobo is NOT dead. id the CD and HDD connected to the same cable, ( is the HDD IDE or SATA connection)

NO, the motherboard only has IDE connections. But I think it's dead because you won't let you get passed the boot screen, so it's always asking for a floppy. I never could find a BIOS update for the mobo.
