Hello,
i am doing a project on USB interfacing.i have plug and play USB to RS-232 converter available.and i have installed driver for that.Device manager is showing the message 'Prolific USB to Serial Converter'.in the device manager it is not showing the address for port.how can i send the binary data to this USB to RS232 converter?
can any one help me regarding this?

Maybe you should set up additional serial port.

Try "add new hardware" in control panel.
