I own a Packard Bell EasyNote with Intel Celeron, 512mb Ram, 40Gb HDD. I've been using it for about 2years. Last week, I forgot to turn off the laptop at night, and the next morning I was shocked to see that the laptop is not turning ON. Actually, it turns ON and after one or two seconds and then it turns OFF.. and this continues. :( The screen is blank, I connected it to a monitor, but that neither shows anything. I cleaned all the RAM slots, charged the batteries, and tried almost all that I can do. Please, Can anyone help me in this... ??

This might not be due to dirty ram slots or any thing like that. It could be some problem with the mobo.

maybe a bad capacitor on the mobo?

my old laptop fried because a cocroach got stuck in the CPU cooling fan's LOL

Damn those cockroaches!!!
