the other day when i turned on my pc no picture woukd show up on my monitor....the computer will start up, the power light comes on and all case fans and cpu fan turn on and i can hear the computer boot up just no picture....i using an Nvidia 8600GT video card and i belive that my proble is that its dead....how can i switch back to onboard video without actually being able to see my monitor screen

Power off computer and remove the video card, plug into onboard video and that should do the trick.
