My PC Configuration is as follows,

- Intel Original - 945 GCNL Board
- 1 GB DDR-2 RAM (667 Mhz)
- 450 W Power Supply
- 17” CRT Monitor (1024 x 768 resolution)
- Running on Windows XP – Sp2 (32bit)

....................................................................

- Budget is around $70 to $100
- Preferable Bard to buy – Nvidia (or as you suggest)
- Should be DirectX – 10 compatible
- Mostly I play racing games (NFS series games)
- Ready to upgrade RAM as my board supports max up to 2Gb.

I did some search on Internet but it is very confusing to selecting best suitable one for my pc… So kindly help me to select best Card within above criteria.

I would recommend getting any of the 9 series graphics card from Nvidia. Have a look at the ratings Nvidia Series 9. Better off going with 9600 GT or better, You will have to look you self for prices I am in the UK and work in pounds.

Things to look out for

Core clock speed > 500MHz
Memory clock speed > 800MHz
Shader clock speed > 1500MHz
Memory > 512MB (GDDR3 is better than GDDR2)
Memory interface > 256-bit

This is my thoughts, I would find out how graphics cards work before buying.

thanks Xlphos.....

I will workout with points u have suggested...

I was also thinking of 9600 GT.. now I just need to inquire prices in Indian rupees.

thanks again.
