I recently moved my (very old) 50" big screen tv into my room next to my computer. I have a Geforce FX 5500 card, hooked up S Video from the card to the TV but I am having a few problems...

1. I can't seem to get the correct resolution so the whole desktop/screen/monitor display fits on the TV.

2. When I go to play video, no video plays on the TV, can only see the borders of Windows media player ect.

Anybody know what's wrong?
