Hello i have problems with my firewire and my camera, ok i have a Samsung vp-d361 mini dv camera with a firewire 4pin to 6pin cable.
I am running Windows XP sp3 and when i connect it to the firewire port nothing happens, now when i connect it to my other XP sp3 machine it detects it so i know now its not the cable or the camera so im really confused now.
I've asked on other forums but no one even replied so i registered here to see if anyone can help me out Thanks
I only google some drivers for my Cam and i have installed them still no detection.
the only differece between the 2 computers is that the one that the camera works on the firewire (IEEE) is called VIA - and the one it dosnt work on is called Texas instru. Im pretty good with computers so anything you guys through at me i can try it!
