Hi

I only recently purchased all new parts for a PC i was going to built. When the components came I built the machine but after the first BIOS screen comes up it just stops! :S

I tried clearing the CMOS memory which helped the first time but after the PC restarts or when it is turned on, the same thing happens again.

Does anyone have any suggestions??

First off, try posting the specs of your machine. If you do that, we may be better able to troubleshoot your install.

It may very well be that you don't have correct jumper settings on a drive or something...

Hi

Yeah I've already tried the jumpers but they are all set correctly. The PC does the checks from the start of BIOS where it initialises the drives etc but when the next screen opens it just stops.

I hope that is more help for you. I believe it may be a BIOS error but I'm open to any other suggestions.
