I am running XP Pro. I have installed a new (Hitachi) 1TB SATA hard drive. The drive shows in Device Manager, but it does not show in My Computer. How can I correct this?

have you formatted or either parititon the drive? or you just install it? you need to partition and format the drive before it shows up in your windows explorer...here's how..start->settings->control panel-> Administrative Tools-> Computer Management->Click on Storage then click on Disk Management -> then your 1TB drive should be there..right click on it then there will be options for you..to partition then format..
