Hello everyone! I was hoping someone could offer a bit of insight into the problem I'm having.. My laptop monitor is doing the following (Youtube video):

When I hook up an external monitor it works fine. However, the symptoms don't seem to match anything I've read on LCD, backlight, or inverter problems. I've taken it apart and played with the cables and connections to no result.. Any ideas?
