my toshiba m200...not starting up.when ever i switch on my note book..its start with toshiba logo and then make some sound for time n then show the screen written with -edit boot otions

What you are being told is that while you have drive access, necessary info (file) on the drive for a normal boot is absent/not found.
Use your Vista OEM setup disc and use the (R)epair option (not Repair Console) which should clear the problem.

thnx for reply...but after tht the screen is hang ,,i cat boot vista dvd...i tried.even i tired with recovery disc.but if i open the battery and start the notebook in directly on power(after remove the battery) there is no problem...plz help me ,,,i cant understand it..
