RAM in a compaq laptop

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my RAM in my Compaq Presario M2217AP

So far I have gathered that firstly:

I don't want to fork out loads of cash for a HP-branded 1GB chip!

Secondly,

the chips specs that I will need are the following:

2 x 1GB chips :mrgreen:
200pin SO-DIMM
333MHz
PC2700

thirdly,

I'm not sure if it matters if the RAM I buy is ECC or non-ECC and parity or non-parity.
