My Powerbook G3 has been sitting unused for about a year, because of a G4 upgrade. I took it out yesterday to start it up, and it won't start. I left it plugged in overnight, and still nothing. At the time of my upgrade to a G4, the G3 was running fine, just a very small 6G HD.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might get life back into this machine?

Thanks!

Start with a PMU Reset. You can find out how on the Apple Support website:

Beyond that, your internal lithium battery is probably dead. You will have to replace it.

You could try zapping the pram(pressing control+R+P+option) at the start-up
