and I can't figure it out. I've run several scans by a bunch of antispyware/adware stuff but they haven't shown anything yet. Anyone have any ideas why its running so slow? I can't play any music, let alone movies or games. Unfortuneatly it started slowing down about a week or two after I got it.

dude your comp is so badly infected the spy ware/adaware scans will not work, there is hidden .exe in your system (most likely your regisry)

your better off creating a ghost image and ghosting your computer. WARNING: you will loose al your data, but the operating system its self.


if you cant create a ghost disk, then just reformatt you disk. WARNING: your os will be destroyed. Make sure you know how to reinstall windows. If you dont just ask me i have reinstalled linux about 45 times and windows about 15.


A good virus scaner- very throual is clam av. Its free.


Also try out adaware (the newest version) ive done tests with about 9 scanners, some taht you have to pay for. And adaware turend out the winner.


use spy bot search and destroy to immunize your computer.

but serouly first ghost it. you will still be infected and may spread the viruses.
