Sorry if this has been asked a million times.... but I need to get some games off my kids comp that quit working yesterday (mysteriously).
What can I do with the old HD? I have a old computer to add it to if possible.
Similar models one is a E-machines from about 2 years ago the other (broke) one is a relatively new Compaq. Both run XP Home....dont know what to do with them...
OK I have installed the old HD as a Slave removed the jumper pin and started up the e-machines and under my computer it lists the old HD as E:... at the moment I am trying to access my games...wish me luck I am learning as I go LOL
FYI the dead compaq had a AMD Sempron 3100 and the working E has a Intel Celeron 2.6 Ghz which would I be better off using?
