I need a little help. I'm bought my laptop in Hong Kong whilst working in Australia. Now I'm in UK and this series is not recognised.
I have purchased a replacement LCD screen on Ebay.com.au for my Toshiba satelitte S3005-304 on the understanding it was changeable.
Now I have opened it up I can see the original LCD Part No is K000816920 WK150 However, the new LCD part number is K000810540 WK234.
Whilst they look identical in size I have noticed that the electrical connector is much smaller. Does anyone have any idea as to whether I can change the actual electrical lead complete for one that was compatible with the smaller LCD screen connection.
Would it work or are there other problems I'd face.
