new to this forum, so hi..
I've got a problem installing a lexmark X4270, as it's not recognising the USB connection to the printer.
The printer does work on another machine, but I don't get a USB port selection when trying to manually add the printer - I've tried to add a local port but I can't configure it, other than calling it USB.
Other USB devices work fine on the laptop and the printer works via USB via the same cable on another laptop no problem.
I'm using an old T22 with W2000 pro, and have used the install disk, windows search and drivers from the web - to no avail.
Any suggestions greatfully appreciated as got a disertation to print..
