Am running mail 1.3.9 on OSX10.3.7
Just "lost" apparently all my stored emails (zillions) in their respective folders on harddrive!!
All (ten) folders are empty after opening email application a couple of days ago except one, which had an embedded other folder, which still contains original stored messages.
I do not recall having done any unusual operation. Message counter tool indeed list also zero messages in respective folders.
Has anyone had that happened and/or can advise on troubleshooting to find formerly stored messages?

I have a similar problem with Mail using OS10.2, the "sent" folder doesn't show the list of messages and the mail programme tries to "sort the colours" on the last message which stops the computer with the coloured wheel spinning while it tries to sort the messages.
Help. What do we need to do?
