How do I make a Video Tutorial directly from Website

What software do I use to make a video tutorial from the steps I take on my website (Mac user) Something that is easy for me to use and easy to upload to my file manager and allow users to click on to watch. I'm clueless.

This is perfect information as I am a novice web girl. I think I will try ScreenToaster first, it's free, looks easy to use, and the company hosts the completed video on their server.

The only thing I'm a little concerned about is the directions to get started say "putting a Javlet(?) on my desktop might harm my computer" Any comments on this?

ScreenFlow looks like it would work just fine too, but it has a cost.
