I am unable to remove/delete movies from my PowerMac/OS X.
I cannot drag them to the Trash and cannot find a working solution in Mac Help. The movies do no have a 'Get Info' option and the 'delete' is grayed out and does not respond.
Please I need step-by-step instructions.

Movies from where? From inside the Finder, or inside iTunes, or what?
What version of OS X?

Try using the Terminal:

1. Start up the Terminal, which is located in /Applications/Utilities/

To delete a file, type
rm (file path)

To move a file, type
mv (file path)

Also, try repairing disk permissions using Disk Utility (/Applications/Utilities)
