I have a G4 400Mhz running 10.4.8.

When I try to send a fax out of OsX, terminal or page sender the internal modem won't go off hook.

When I use internet connect or AT commands from terminal I can dial out no problem.

I have tried everything except for reinstall. But since I used to be a mac expert sys 8.6 using this as learning opportunity.


When faxing which program gives the off hook?

I think it' efax but can't find it.
