Hi and hello to everyone im new here and am quite a novice looking for help!!!!

I recently installed Vista Ultimate over my old xp as i liked the look of vista, all is good apart from i have no sound at all.
I have ttried installing drivers again updates and eveything, i've tried removing the hardware in device manager but to no avail.
Please help me!!!

ok after uninstalling the driver from the device manager did you try to install the sound card again?

yes tried everything and its starting to thrash my head:@

TO get into Safe Mode start pushing your F8 key when the system comes up. Your BIOS is probably the Del key, but could be F2 or F10. You'll have to watch for it when the system boots up.
