Please help I've been working on a home movie since last christmas. When I view it, it plays perfect but after I save it to my computer it either dosen't play all the music or randomley flashes through all the pictures and no music. I've had it with this program and paid enough money for it. Any suggestions?

As requested, the very first step is to identify the exact muvee product, its version and the Windows build in use; export behavior differs between editors, and 's Movie Maker suggestion highlights that. The most common causes for differences between an in-app preview and a final file are codec/player mismatches, DRM or locked audio files, automatic timing/styling features that retime images to music, and assets stored on removable or network drives.

Try these diagnostic steps in order:

  1. Make a copy of the project and consolidate all media into one local folder so source paths are stable.
  2. Turn off any automatic timing/beat-sync or style features and export a short test clip (10-30 seconds).
  3. Export an audio-only file from the same project to check whether the audio renders.
  4. Test the exported file in a different player and inspect its codecs with MediaInfo. If one player shows sound while another does not, the problem is a player/codec issue rather than the editor.
  5. Update the muvee application and system codecs; try exporting to an alternate container (MP4, WMV) to isolate encoder bugs.
  6. If audio files were purchased or synced from other devices, verify they are not DRM-protected.

Tools: use MediaInfo to inspect containers/codecs and VLC for cross-check playback. If problems persist after these tests, gather a minimal failing project plus one exported file and contact the vendor with those files and timestamps so their support can reproduce and trace the bug.
