Not sure if this is the right place however, I have a toshiba Satellite laptop that starts up but nothing on screen. I just downloaded Adobe Acrobat software upgrade and it prompts me to reboot I do and now it does not want to work. Like I said it starts (fan, lights) but nothing on screen. HELPPPPPPPPPP

Jump to Postyou might try plugging in an external monitor to see if you have video output. There should be a blue Fn key on your keyboard...you hold that down and press the blue key with a monitor on it, probably F4, which transfers the signal to the external monitor you connect.

when the computer comes up, you should be able to hit the f12 key and get to diagnostics.
