okay, while trying to install a new video card, I removed my old video card and then proceeded to attempt to install the new one. I uninstalled the system video card, the NVIDIA GE FORCE 4 and now my computer screen is just black. no menu comes up at all. the new card is not 8x by any chance ,maybe not supported by your motherboard .
