I installed Windows 2003 Server SP1.Then i did Application server,
Active directory(Domain Controller),DNS Server,POP3 server.
System was fine at first boot. But on second i face this.....

lsass.exe-System Error: Security Accounts Manager initialization
failed because of the following error: Directory Service cannot start.
Error Status: 0xc00002e1. Please click OK to shutdown this system and reboot into Directory Services Restore Mode, check the event log for more detailed information.

When i tried to go to Directory Services Restore Mode, it only shows

Checking Network connections......
System starts up.....

It is going on still more than one hour but nothing happens.

What'll i do ?

After few checks and dig out I come across this:

This may not be your problem though, only what Microsoft suggest.

CAUSE of problem:
This issue may occur if the Security Accounts Manager file (SAM) is corrupted or missing.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, either restore or replace the SAM file.

Note you cannot use the repair process or the recovery console to resolve this issue. These methods require authentication, which cannot occur if the SAM file is corrupted or missing.

Try this above dude and let me know how you got on, one more thing bear in mind you are working with server so if the above doesn’t help contact Microsoft or relevant IT support company that assist you.

Best of luck
