I'm needing to chat with someone who has done an upgrade on at least 25 WindowsXP machines to Vista Business Edition or above.
I need to chat with someone who has "actually done it."
When were the upgrades done? Knowing the month and year is fine.
How many machines were done?
Generally, how did it go?
How long did it take per machine on average?
What were the unforeseen problems?
Was the client happy at the end of the upgrade?
What hardware platform(s) were the upgrades done on? Windows 2000k certified machines? WindowsXP certified machines? Other?
What type and version of the network OpSys was in place at the time?
Where there any problems with the upgrade as it related to the network?
Any other feedback from your experience would be greatly appreciated.
