Whenever I try to download updates to windows xp I get error messages to the effect that my product key is invalid. What do i do ? I cannot imagine reinstalling another OS, this has allready given me enough stress.

Sammy my friend your another victim of pirated software.. I cannot suggest anything illegal to you because for myself being a programmer I would hate someone using my codes for free... Goto www.windows.com and read up about the SP1 service pack..
