Hi all,

First time here - please be gentle with me...
I'm running 98SE and my monitor is stuck with 16 colors. When I try to change the settings to 256 colors and OK/Apply, I'm asked to restart the computer but when I do I still have 16 colors.
At StartUp I get asked which program I want to use to open TWAINDLL and also a DLL Error message.
The computer never Restarts properly and unless I completely Shut Down I end up in Safe Mode. I'm hoping all these are connected.

Any ideas? Thanks.

sounds like you either need a better video driver or maybe a new video card. the twain thing has to do with a scanner or camera
