I have this raid server already running on server 2003. its been messing up and now i want to install XP on it. How do i go about it, because I have a bootable xp CD and Bios set to boot from CD-rom, yet it does not pick up. Please Help and thanks

Hello,
Your problem is you need a driver for the RAID card for XP. Server 2003 has several built in but XP does not. Download one from the RAID card MFG's web site and put it on a floppy disk (yes a floppy, XP will only loook at a floppy for new drivers). Then when you are booting the XP CD you will see a message about pressing <F6> to load SCSI or other drivers. Press the <F6> key and follow the prompts to load the driver.
