Hi, I've got a 2.4GHz machine running XP pro, Office XP pro, and very frequently, my cursor turns to a "CD Cursor" as if the machine is trying to read a cd, although there is no cd in the drive, or any apps that are requesting a file from a cd.
I have all the Office features, such as the Assistant turned off.
Anyone have any idea what's up with this?

I have that same problem, and I think that its caused by a utility I downloaded called CursorXP. You can check to see if you have it - in the mouse properties dialog box there will be a CursorXP tab. All I could figure was to go into the mouse properties dialog and reset the cursors to the default scheme, which works for a while.
