Occasionally when I sign in to Windows Live Messenger, it signs me in but upon doing so, the whole system hangs/freezes (Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn’t work, cursor won’t even move) so I have to hard reboot. This doesn’t happen every time, but has been recently happening with greater frequency.

I’m using Windows Vista SP2 (32-bit).
