Jump to Post..hi there!..burn your .IMG file in a dvd or cd disc..you can burn your .IMG file by using MagicISO & PowerISO..you can also extract your .IMG file by using MagicISO..i hope it helps!..^_^..

He can always mount it with Daemon Tools,Virtual CloneDrive etc.

you can use it for system recovery. if the file is created by some backup software, you can use the software to mount .img file to check.
