explorer.exe is an essential part of windows which let you use taskbar, start menu and multiple windows.
If you try to end it's process, all the display will be gone except wallpaper temporarily and will restarted in few seconds later. Sometimes you may even need to restart your computer to let it work back...
Can you tell me what is the problem you're having when you want to end explorer.exe?

I think this is due to a Spyware Attack, So please scan your PC with a good Anti-Spyware Tool.

If explorer.exe is restarting again and again and you do not want to re-install the Windows then you can use alternate explorers like TCUP [Total Commander Ultima Prime]
