hey for somereason in the shutdown tab i can no longer put my laptop into standby, the tab is there but will not highlight.. can anyone help me?

hey for somereason in the shutdown tab i can no longer put my laptop into standby, the tab is there but will not highlight.. can anyone help me?

i think the problem is due improper installation of ur mother board drivers
even once u check the following...
1.desktop properties
2.screen saver tab
3.power button
4.power schemes tab
now check whether ur power scheme is "always on" option
if it is then change it to home/office desk or portable/laptop
now press ok button
this may solve ur problem
if neccessary u restart once
