Looking for help.

I am running XP Home and have windows media player 10. I have previoulsy been able to view view video via wmp10. However recently wmb10 opens up but then I get an error saying, " windows media player has encountered a problem and will close". It then wants to send a report to Microsoft.

Error indicates 0xc0000005

I have run several virus checks, run spyware and adware checks. Same thing. I have tried reinstall wmp10 however I receive message saying I have the lates version.

What can I do?
