Alright. So I download Visual Studio 2k5 in 2 discs from my college software site. (I don't particularly want to use VS2k5, but I want to have it around JIC.) I go and map them to my virtual drive, and they autoplay. Great! I'll install and be on my way!

Then Lex Luthor comes in and screams "WRONG!!!!!"

When I click on install it freezes, using 99-100% CPU.

So I burn them to dvds (I'm outta cds) using image burning software. Okay! they told me this was how to do it, and so it should work. (Pioneer DVR-S111B DVD+-RW drive, 16x, dual layer 8x)

In comes Lex Luthor, again with the screaming.

So, what's the deal here, do you think? I have had this problem each time I have downloaded the iso's, and now I can't download any more copies.
