hello to anyone that can help me out... i am a musician that uses a laptop for live music performance... i have a bunch of standalone programs that i control via midi controller... i currently have one profile on my computer in which i use for everything - school (microsoft word, internet access), live music, games, etc. i would like to create a seperate profile that i can use solely for the live music so i can maximize my cpu usage instead of having all kinds of unnecessary processes running taking up space... i was wondering if anyone could tell me which processes are absolutely key to running my computer and how i can go about creating a second profile that has only the necessities i would need for a live music performance... basically everything disabled except for what i would truly need.
