Please help me how can I boot my Sony core I 5 3337u laptop from cd rom drive , as I want to re partition my drive and refresh my windows 7/8

1) go into the BIOS setup and verify that the CD ROM drive has a priority boot order.
2) Make sure the CD you have is actually bootable by trying on a different computer that you know has a CD ROM with a higher priority.

Even if CD booting is enabled, you may also have to hit a specific key during boot to select an alternate boot device. For example, on my Dell it is F12.
