I have a cable modem
a LINKSYS BEFSR41 etherfast cable/dsl router w/4-port switch
a Linksys EtherFast EZXS88W Ethernet Switch

I have 3 computer connect to the router
I have the switch also connect to the router
I have 2 computers connect to the switch

Every fine so far

Once I try to connect a Windows Vista Machine to the switch, no connection.
If I swap ports with a WIN XP machine (I connect the XP PC to the switch and the Vista PC to the router) everything works fine

What am I doing wrong

I can operate OK for know,
but what happens if I try to add another device the my network
I'm running our of options

Any help would be appreciated

I am new to home networking. I'm wondering if I did something wrong?
