Hey im a little stuck with this can anyone help me?
What happens in the various parts of the network, as data travels between your host and your destination server?
I basically am stuck with what are the stages and what happens basically.
Any help is kidly appricaited,

No it isnt its just because i want an understanding of the processes that accure, for example the processes i think in terms of its order is:
DNS then, TCP, then Ethernet.
As you can see i have little knowledge and was just wondering if anyone could help me understand this?
A lot of huge books is written on that subject - please don't expect any easy answers for that sort of questions ;)
