i need help bad! I have a dell inspiron 8000, and i have a generic desktop. i bought a dell wireless broadband router, can i also have a dell 80211b wireless card for the laptop. I have installed both. the router seems to be fine...i am still accessing the net on my desktop through it, but i cannot pick up a "link" or signal from my router to the laptop, to access the internet. can anyone help? I dont know alot about this kind of stuff....but can learn fast. Any help is appreciated! thanks in advance!

Check the instruction manual for the modem.
It could be the wireless part is turned off, or it will only do one connection at a time so you would probably need to get a router.
