Help required in creation of CDR's of SS7 over IP (SIGTRAN) project

Hi,
I am working on project of making CDR's (Call data Recorder) of SS7 over IP (SIGTRAN). I was finding a free simulator on internet but unable to find one. So now i have started a programming approach to fetch data from the traffic and find source and destination addresses from the SCTP packets. I need help in steps required in programming and algorithmic approach to do so. If anybody have simulator then it will be a great favor for me.
Kindly help me in that respect so that i can complete my project in time.
