hi every one, i have a problem. i have a belkin wireless modem. the wireless works but the local area connection (cable) connection is enabled but no internet. ive tryed nearly all trouble shooting but no good. i have had enternet connection through the cable twice. but it some how disconnects, or if i enable wireless it disables and cant get internet unless i disable local area connection. heres a sample of cmd ipconfig /all

So what you are saying is that you can either connect via wired or wireless, but not at the same time from that computer? Some computers have the option in the BIOS to enable/disable wireless based on the connection status of the wired ethernet adapter. Check on that.

If this is not the case, what I would recommend for what seems like flakey devices in Windows is to go to device manager, uninstall the device, let Windows scan for devices, find the device again, then provide an updated device driver.

It sounds like your Network Interface card is not set up to receive an IP address automatically. It may have been set with a fixed address that is conflicting with an address already given. To test this, switch off all WiFi connected devices and reboot the router (switch it off and on again).
To check the set up you go to the properties for the Adapter, click on TCP/IP 4 and then properties. Tick auto for both IP and DNS.
