I am using using Windows XP Pro on my laptop. I have using the built-in wireless card for my internet connection for almost 6 months. However recently, I am not able to connect. The wireless card being used is Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection. The status shows as "Not Connected, Firewalled". I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled. I have also tried to repair, but it did not work. I have also installed Intel Proset/Wireless from Intel website. On these application there is an option to set Wireless ON or Wireless OFF. When I try to set Wireless ON, I get the message, "The Intel(R) PRO/Wireless Network Connection is still disabled. Use your hardware switch to enable it." I have turned the hardware switch ON, but it makes no difference.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
