Hi there,

i have a problem on my network.
Lotus Notes cannot see the lotus server , while everything else on the network works properly.

User can access the files , use the internet but not the lotus.
i had a chat with the guys who are operating the lotus server but they cannot also figure out whats going on.

on a dos prompt , i can ping the lotus server by ip (e.g 172.20.2.16) but cannot ping it by domain (srv10).

any guesses?

Make sure the network and workstations have access to port 1352. This is the port Notes uses.

Also, in the connection document you can use the server's IP address instead of the domain name. If this works then you have a DNS problem.
