I recently purchased a D-Link DPR-1260 Printer Server and connected it to my D-Link DGS-1005D Switch which is connected to my D-Link DI704P DSL Router.

My computer is directly connected to a D-Link D-624 Wireless Router which is also connected to the D-Link DGS-1005D.

I am unable to "ping" or connect to the new DPR-1260
Therefore I am unale to print to any of my servers?

Anyone have suggestions. I can do anything since this is a Home Network

Are you getting link lights on the switch and/or printserver? are you useing a straight-through or cross-over cable to connect the printer server to the switch?

lights look good
If I connect directly using a laptop with a straight thru, connection is fine and I can configure

Straight thru cable to to the switch I cannot get through
