Network Drive access problem
Hi

I have an intranet in my office. Previously I was using WIN2K Pro and Now for development purpose We put a new PC with XP Pro.
In our conventional method we used to access the drive d from Run command (or
Through Tools-> Map network Access) \\ip\d$ .
But in XP I am not able to do it so, when I try to do it, System invoke for password but did not accept it.
We use secret drive access through $, so that drive can’t seen in network neighbor-hood.
Will any body will help me…

are you using workgroups or domains?

Check XP is in the same workgroup if so
